After 4 months... Finally!

Hohoho! 2 more days to 2013! Time is flying again. :( Yesterday went to Queensway to print my lion head and my name on to our August competition shirt! Like finally. Had been saying it since like... July or August? Finally it's done! Hahaha. Wanted to put chinese name at first but the person scare us by saying each chinese letter have to add $10 because she thought we want to sew our names on to the shirt! Hahaha! But oh well, we just wannted to print, some miscommunication there. So for chinese it's just additional $1 charge and I'm kind of satisfied by the service and efficiency! :)  Had curry chicken again for lunch, well the delights of the shopping centre also. Hahaha. Bought a shirt too, a polo tee. At least the colour combination is nice. It feels great when you are able to wear the shirts that once you couldn't even fit well in them when you were in the fitting room of the store.

After which we went for training. Yesterday training was great I would say! :) Only 8 more days to go till the competition day! Jiayou everyone! We will be able to do it! Have faith, have hopes, have confidence! :D Let our spirit ROARRR.

You better watch out, you better watch twice, you better watch out I'm telling you why! Cos Santa Claus is coming to town! Finally Christmas is here! 2012 is really a very fast year! In a blink of an eye I already survived half of Poly year 1 and when school reopens, it's gonna be another sememester then my year 1 in Poly would be over after the End Of Sememster exams! Time flies isn't it? Hohoho! My secret santa is not efficient enough! I'm not receiving my present yet! D: Can only received it on 31st December during our countdown cum christmas party with lion dance troupe! HURRY I WANT MY PRESENT(S). Ok, I admit I'm never a very christmas person, it's just another festive period and event! Hehe.

 

Soon enough new year will be up and then Chinese new year will be here and then follow by End Of Semester test!! :( That's fast! Just anticipating for chinese new year to come fast! At least that period of time I will be filled with lion dance and school and it won't be so troubled. Just happiness all the way maybe? :) Determined to start studying hard during January because I won't even have the time to study when Feburary arrives! I can't let my GPA go down hill again this sememester. Although I really have a feeling that I didn't do well for MST but oh well, it's over. What to do even when you are disappointed and know some of it is a GONE CASE story. Sighhhhhh. End of Semester have a higher weightage so I ought to study hard and do very well for it! JIAYOU JIAYOU! 不到最后一秒不要放弃！

 

This Christmas, wishes all the hopes, wishes, dreams which are realistic and archieveavle will be achieved and every thing will come true for everyone! May happiness be filled in the atmosphere, let us breath in all the happiness while we breath in the air and let our lifes be filled with friends, family, joy and laughters. Out the troubles, burden and unhappiness go and welcome a new us!

一波接一波。。。

说真的这感觉好奇怪哦。真的不懂怎么了但事情就一波一波冲向我。。。感觉像终于结束了，回到当初，结果呢？不是。反而是距离一直在被拉远也没有以前那种好友的感觉。这问题似乎持续好久了但及时我才会学会不管，不闹，不烦，让一切变成它应该是的样子呢？

有时我真的在想。。或许就是因为我太过于相信一些人，给他们 100% 信任结果呢？结果只是觉得自己好傻，好笨，好蠢哦。人说“真心付出不要求回报”。 这句话没错，但就错在我们一次一次的被人觉得我们的付出是自己愿意的又没有人逼我们。说实在的，我们自己有时也忽略别人对我们的好吧。。。但话又说回来，那些久的时光我好怀念。怀念当初的美好，快乐，乐趣。现在有的只是那几个话题。尝试挽回所有我能做的，什么都没得到因为付出的是我，得到的是他人。

累了。听过超多次了吧？我知道。。。能干吗？真正的心声就是对一切厌倦但又不想放弃尝试。说穿了就是一心想吧对自己重要的人留在身边。不时觉得好难，好难，好难。最少尝试了吧~

Buffet Dinner

Just now during evening time went to Shangri-la hotel for The Line buffet! Annal thing for my family to celebrate my mum birthday and parents wedding anniversary. :) This year went to Shangri-la. Had somehow high expectations from this buffet because the reviews and from what others says this is a worthy buffet and many will miss it whenever they think of BUFFET. But well for me it's like kind of nice but not really to expectation level from what others say. Overall the ambiance, the staffs and some of the food were really really good. The staffs are all so friendly! Definitely the food worth the price of the buffet, with crabs, oysters, macaroons and ice cream which can be "fry" like cold-stone creamery! Also there's chocolate fondue with fruits and marshmallows to go with. One recommendation? For sure it will be the Ginseng Chicken Soup found under the Chinese Dim Sum section. The soup is so well brewed and it have a strong and nice aroma! I'm sure those who takes Chinese chicken soup would love that soup. The earl grey sorbet ice cream totally makes me think of Gong Cha immediately when I ate it! It's sooooo nice! Hahaha!

Shall get the photos printed soon and add on to my precious camera memo album! Maybe I shall get it done tomorrow noon :) Thanks goodness that holidays arrived and finally sense some FREEDOM in my life after the stressful Mid-Semester Test! Next thing for the December holidays is to relax and train for the upcoming competition. Less than 30 days to go till competition! Hoping for the best and wishing for the best for our troupe!

"Retrenched" Molten Chocolate Cake

Chocolate Lava Cake

 Last Tuesday on 27 November 2012, went to the workshop for baking with the director of our course together with ZiWei, Shuhui and Chavin! At first we couldn't contact the director and wasn't very sure if the workshop was still on because we registered for it like months before the actual practical. Went off to Clementi mall with others to have lunch at Ajisen first then went back to school and finally the director called! :) Well the practical and making of the molten chocolate didnt take very long. We managed to finish the doing and baking in like only 1 hour time? Maybe a little more and a little lesser. Can't really remember the exact time. And here's the lava cake or some called molten chocolate cake we baked! This is only one container of it, we baked a total of 36 of them! LOL~ xD

Chocolate Lava Cake

If you were to ask if making the chocolate lava cake is difficult, I would say it was quite easy. Wasn't as difficult as it seems to be. The only difficult part is to take note of the baking timing as the molten chocolate came from the uncooked batter in the cake. If the cake is being baked for too long, the lava cake will become normal soft chocolate cake instead of lava cake. But it's recommended to consume the cake fast and almost immediately as the center of the cake harden rather quickly and this somehow explains why lava cakes are baked on the spot before serving in restaurants or shops. I would say I really love this recipe! The cake wasn't very very sweet. It is still acceptable and we were given vanilla ice cream to eat with the lava cake. IT IS SO SO SO HEAVENLY! :} Will try making this cake at home but I'm sure my cake will become chocolate cake when the others eat it. Hahaha. ANTICIPATE FOR IT THEN!
  

 Last Meal, Last Day, Last Seen

Awww... Just got to work at J10 for not long with good working colleagues, managers and working environment, kfp J10 officially closed down last wednesday :( Went to NP to meet Chiah Hou and proceeded to buy some stuffs then we went off to Kfp. Seriously there's just so many people there, aren't customers but more of management team. Seeing the stuffs being packed and all, giving them back our uniform, oh well, there goes the last day of operation for this outlet. Had our late dinner there, I'm like damn hungry since 3+pm since exco meeting all the way until 8+ then the food was served... Hell man. Luckily I have a lot of fats to burn off to provide me with energy. Hahaha! Ordered quite a lot of food for dinner. Baked rice, tiramisu cake, chocolate cake, shaved ice and sotong ball. Had a sinful and satisfying meal. Now I'm officially jobless! Shall find some time to go find job already~

 Drum Performance
Yesterday, Saturday, had our drum performance at RP for some competition opening event. The echos and stuffs there are good seriously! Been so happy and shiok to be able to play loudly with power and strength. Nothing rocks more than that. Haha. Guess the satisfaction from playing drums mostly comes from these few points.

 I got to live on these since lion dance training for competition and now I gotta live on this after dragon dance training. My back, shoulder and hand always aches without fail after training. I don't like aches seriously.... Reason being, it hurts. Who likes to feels hurt at some places when you need to exert strength but yet when strength is applied, your ache starts to pain, when you raise your hand, your ache starts to acts up. Bare with it! Everything will end soon! No pain, no gain! Persevere, endure, work hard, we, I, can do it and we WILL do it!
