Yesterday went for Chingay rehearsal. Oh my I swear it's damn tiring today I don't know why as compared to last rehearsal. Maybe today we had full round and had to run and run and run! But when we were at the pit building, there was a lot of great comments and supportive comments from the "audience" or to say the other performancers. Well done, well done, good job, good job, pretty, creative and so on~ :) Well, at least the hard work of having to go back during the holidays and the effort of so many who often go back on weekdays paid off on this special and unique dragon. Need the damn rest now and soon already! Kind of waiting for the actual day Chingay! Guess it will be rather high and fun on the full dress rehearsals and stuffs! Hang on and look forward to it. :)

Indeed everything happens for a reason, sometimes it wouldbe really good if we know what's the reason being what's going on behind all those, everything that's going on behind behind behind... We all want to be strong, no one likes breaking down. No one like to be the one always contributing, puting others as pirority and being put in the least pirority when others think of going out or anything else. We all want to be independent but in some point of time, we tend to rely on someone, giving them the best we could and expecting the best we know they could.Be thankful if you manage to find the same person who rely on you. Yes, it unnecessary be couples. Sometimes, most of the times, it applies to friendship too...

Chingay Eco Plastic Bottle Dragon!

Today had our Chingay Eco Plastic Bottle LED dragon eye dotting ceremony at Bangkit! Hoho, awesomeness! Hahaha! Went to CC to change into our new attire and also to do final checking and fixing of the dragon. Then we carried the heavy dragon down to the badminton court at CC and went over to bangkit to measure our dragon length as a whole! YES, we manage to set a new Singapore Record for the longest Plastic Bottle dragon in Singapore :) This feeling is just wow thinking you manage to take part in 2 of the Singapore Record setting. Well well, in this life. Hahaha. Had a short performance after eye dotting. The dragon is indeed heavy but for sure this dragon is very pretty and beautiful! Got so many praises when people walk by the dragon tail just now! ^^ Aren't that awesome? Haha. Kudos to those who make it happens and those who helped  to make it happen.

After all the training we had, all the up and downs, the arguments, the trainings,the discussions, the this and the that, we are here, we managed to obtained our target and our aim! Good job to the whole team and of course also to those who were there to help, to support, those who taught us, those who allow us to obtain a Gold award for our very first competition for most of us! :) 

Yesterday we had our eye-dotting ceremony for our dragon before we proceed to the competition venue. On that same day, our dragon came alive! Giving us luck, hope and confidence.

 After which we had some stations training and waited for the lorry to come over while we just chill around at CC. After which we went over to the competition venue and had our stuffs settled down as well as dragon being measured and that awaits us to our turn! Honestly, didn't feel any of the nervousness until the team before us cos my sweaty palms was giving me some problem yet again thanks to the beautifully done air-conditional. Hahaha. But luckily it didn't affect me during the competition routine! 

Finally it's our turn! Just enter the competition field after our loud loud and powerful cheer, we managed to complete successfully and very shun! :) Everyone heart somehow have an expectation after what we've done and we were just standing there and waiting for our results to be announce. When the judge put up their scores and the MC went saying the scores, 1st judge, 9.something, 2nd judge, 9.something, without even managing to hear what the other judges gave us, everyone was already in tears of joy. My eyes was filled with tears but just refusing to let it down. But when I turn over to look at the team and when I saw the 3 girls from our dragon team crying, couldn't help the tears as the kind of touched, effort paid off feeling just filled the atmosphere. The more you put in, the more you could feel that kind of feeling. Well done Stamford! :) This is just the beginning of our journey. We have a long way more to go! Jiayou!

2013- Happy New Year! :)

Happy New Year everyone! :) This is my very first post for 2013! Hoho! May everyone's 2012 be good and be glad that it's over and we are entering the new year with lots of happiness, excitements, joy and laughters. Leave all the gauges, anger, unhappiness behind from 2012 and welcome this new fellow 2013 into our life!

Countdown to 2013~
Part 1

Yesterday had 2 countdowns with lion dance troupe! And also christmas exchange presents session. Alright let's go ahead with the CC countdown first! We had dragon dance training first and finally the 4 days straight training ended. Really hope we could do well for this upcoming competition cos we are now left with only 5 days to competition! Like a fast only... After training we went to CD shelter for the gift exchange session first, it's supposed to be the last second part of the programs but due to the food which aren't ready and other circumstances, we had our gift exchange session first! :) Gotten 2 shirts from the secret santa, I can squeeze in "M" size leh! Hehe. Be proud of it! :P But cos the cutting is big if not it'll be "L" size. Who cares! Let me be happy on the last day of 2012 and first day of 2013! Hehe.

After the gift exchange and opening of the gifts, we went to eat our so called buffet and went back into the CD shelter for games. As expected, the first game is to dance Gangnam Style and we have to select some people to do the dance moves. The kids are really damn good at dancing Gangnam Style! Thumps up for them seriously! Hahaha, Then the 3 girls, Rona, my sis and Ting Yan was chosen to VS the boys, Chiah Hou, Jun Jie and me. :( They danced 花又开好了 and we danced to bad romance but a pretty failed romance indeed. There's almost nothing else to do except for being a monster. Hahaha. Then we were asked to PK one on one and Rona jie and me break dancing wo! Hahaha! From break dance before ballet become sexy dances! Like fun only! Haha! Had our finale which is our very first count down to 10pm for the people who need to go home and then some headed home to bath and met outside Kbox for our second round of countdown!

Part 2

TTT drove my sis, me and Chiah Hou to the Kbox and there was some problems with the miscommunication which I'm already suspecting that my booking was not done over the phone and I still called back to double confirm my booking a few days later. Oh well, it's over already so nevermind! Went into Kbox and sing sang sung with the rest! Now I'm down with sorethroat but yesterday Kbox was fun at least! Do manage to sing some of the songs I want to sing :) When we want the exact timing for coutdown we couldn't find any and in the end just anyhow countdown to 12am as some people handsome and watch already hit 12am before we even countdown! Hahaha! Nevertheless, some haven;t. So look on the bright side at those which haven't hit 12am yet and we countdown! Haha. Hope everyone did have an enjoyable time at Kbox and ignore the situation we had before we enter Kbix! :) Thanks Stamford! Another day made indeed :)

I've made my new year resolution in my heart and I hope those resolutions will be achieved. Some hopes for 2013, let me live up to my own expectations and don't disappoint me. I'll promise to work hard but also promise not to let me disappoint myself or get disappointed from the people around me. Some new year resolutions are as listed below:

-To slim down more and really fit into "M' size shirt :)

- Go to lion dance competition with my lion head, Hao and get more than 9.0 points and get into the finals at Takashimaya.

-To do well in whatever I do and make things better than it used to be in 2012.

- To do well for Dragon Dance competition no matter upcoming or any competitions coming up in 2013.

- To live with happiness and not be taken for granted from others.

- And.... more maybe.
