Happy 21st Birthday Sister~ :)

Alright so firstly, today is the 29th April 2013!

Happy 21st Birthday to my sis!

Also congrats on her big day soon! :) Went to Nando's at Bugis to celebrate my sis birthday with troupe people! First time trying out the food but I'm quite disappointed with the chilli though. It's not as spicy and as nice as what others are saying. Reason being it's too sour somehow. Perhaps too much vinegar! But the wild herbs version of the sauce was quite a well-mixed one though! Ate Peri-Peri, the HOT one. The chicken was really soft and tender and not too dry, it's juicy but it aren't oily! Well, that's the best I could say.... THE CHICKEN IS VERY SUPERB AND VERY FREAKING AWESOME! After eating the few of us went to rehearsal next for the big performance on 10/5 and back to cc for training after which! Now I'm still having aches on my back and my hand. Grhhhhh...
Virgin Nando's try out~ Yummy chicken!
As today is my sis 21st birthday! This bunch of monkeys came to invade my house with tidbits, drinks and also cake! Thanks for making my night so fruitful though I'm having my biochem test tomorrow which takes up 10% of the overall results for the module itself. Well, I know right... This sucks pretty much. Any of the test cannot be taken lightly as it will affect the grade as well as the GPA. Had a great chat with my clique and had much fun joking and laughing on anything and everything! :)
Surprise Celebration for Sis~
Today in school while having lesson, saw Pornsak tweet that he will be heading to SP with Desmond Tan, Rebecca Lim and Jeffery Xu. So we decided to head down to see the event and also if there's a chance to take photos with them. We had 2 hours break today so we decided to go up to FoodCourt 6 in SP which apparently we haven't had a chance to try the food there even though we have been in school for a year already :X Tried the famous chicken rice stall but the taste was aversage to many of us though... Opps. Are we too picky on our food when our course or to say our class people gather? Hahaha! After eating we went back to the area outside SPCC and saw them doing the filming for a meaningful event. Special thanks to Rebecca Lim and Pornsak for being so friendly and managed to take photos with them! Thanks so much! :)

Went to Manna today during break to buy food and bought the yummy Mac and Cheese. You just couldn't think of fats when you eat these stuffs. When you came to think about the fats content..... I doubt you will be contented unless you are underweight and you are in the means of gaining weight... Ok can! This Mac and Cheese is damn yummy! For those who don't know, Mac and Cheese is like cooked pasta with cheese on them. At first I thought they would taste weird too but after trying a few years back, you won't regret having to try them! Unless you're not a cheese or pasta lover. If you got the chance, try it! PS, since Manna is opened, it seems to become our 2nd cafe in school other than the library cafe that we used to always visit when we have a lot of our lessons at that area in the past.

Thoughts aren't reality.

School reopened, thought things will get better, thought things will be smoother, thought those things that shouldn't even be present in the first place will disappear. I was wrong... Things are getting tougher, modules are in the circle of interest but the amount of things to memorise is a lot. At least there's quite a few modules that are in-course modules instead of having EST. Also thinking some stuffs that made us unhappy last sememster will be gone but it doesn't seems so now.

Many things that you thought could become reality do not become reality. Things that you don't want them to become reality always comes into your life and become part of your history, future and part of your reality. It isn't something you can control, especially such stuffs. Perhaps in your own book of life, everything is written, noted and just waiting for the time to fulfil them.

TIME....
Important to our daily lifes, help us to bring away history and stuffs that hurt us. But what lies infront of us will eventually be brought to us by time.... Good or bad? You decide.

Taiwan Taiwan!

Recently went to Taiwan from 6th April 2013 to 11th April 2013! These are some of the updates from the trip! we played from Tai Zhong to Taipei! On 5th April we met up at airport about 10++pm and went to check in and stuffs then waited for the aeroplane to take off to Taiwan. Me and Bing had a sleepless flight. Seriously unable to sleep thanks to the seats. Hahaha. So we were somehow awake throughout the journey.

6th April 2013:
Reached Tao Yuan international airport and immediately went to 7-11 to buy our breakfast! Hehe! After which we took off on the journey to Tai Zhong. We placed our luggage in the 民宿 and went to 体大 to find Maggie and Jian Zhi! Really cannot tahan their reacion especially Jian Zhi! He don't believe I'm really at Taiwan until he called Maggie and she passed me the phone. Heh. Met up with them for lunch and had our first Korean style BBQ buffet in Taiwan! After which went to watch them train for their competition and waited for check in time. Trained a bit on the flags then went back to the 民宿 for check in. After which met up with coach they all then ate supper! Thanks Taiwan coaches and teachers for the sinful dinner! There's just so many many many dishes!  After which we went back to the 民宿 and went to 逢甲夜市to eat and done lots of shopping though it's just our first night. LOL. Below are some of the food we ate when we are at Taiwan. Some pictures in between to not bored you out!
DELICIOUS FOOD! Don't droll though...
7th April 2013:
Woke up early morning and set first alarm at about 5.45am! AHHH tiring! Went to watch 大甲妈祖绕境at 2 places. Went to take their "MRT" to the first location and at there we caught the main temple god. After which there wasn't anything much already so we went to a further location to watch the front part that we missed where there are a lot of 阵头performances. Zhen tou doesn't mean that there will be drum performances. Actually there are a lot of performance which are called zhen tou too! Don't be misled like us by the movie. Hahaha. At night we went to 逢甲夜市 again this time with Rona jie they all and the others! Also know one Xue Jie through the 逢甲夜市 visit! She worked once in Singapore. Hahaha. She's kinda good! Did take care of us~ Met up with many Taiwan friends there. After which went back to the 逢甲夜市 with Susan and jalan jalan until midnight! When we went back the rest are already sleeping or staring blankly already. Hahaha.

 8th April 2013:
Managed to woke up early in the morning yet again.... Hahaha to go support Taiwan friends for their competition! Though there's a little mistake but they are really good especially Jian Zhi! Though he feel rather disappointed after which but he did well and really awesome team! Becca also been a good dragon pearl and Tang Mei gave us the cutest and funniest memories! Ah.... Hahaha! Ok only we know~ :P After their competition we went to karaoke with Tai Zhong friends and Susan! Super fun and high though many of us kana sorethroat and in the end all shag already! Hahaha. After singing farewell with Tai Zhong friends already. Aw that's just so sad... Hope we will meet again! Thanks for leaving us with memories!
Awesome people who made the trip so fun!
9th April:
Packed our luggage and on this day is the day we should celebrate!! My fever is gone! Was damn afraid that I couldn't come back to Singapore safely as there's just the don't know what virus going on now. And they say if go back still fever maybe need to be quarantine... But luckily it was recovered! :) We went to a few location to play from Tai Zhong all the way up to Taipei! Some places to be mentioned are: Firstly we went to this cupboard design thingy. In here there's a whole lot of stuffs made of cupboard and some are even water proff! We paid for the ticket and was given NT100 each. Well, their purpose is to make you shop in there duh! Bought a Dua Pek Gong 3D cupboard decoration as it's exactly NT100 and that can be kept! Waseh not bad uh! Quite smart right? Hahaha. After which we went to the old palace. We fed crazy fishes which were goping for food and some even flip their bodies off the water then landed on other fishes. Guess what's next? Yeah, looking for water and trying very hard to breathe and get through other fishes to go back into the water. Hahaha! Damn cute but yet disgusting at the same time please! LOL! We went to some old streets for shopping and stuffs then off to Taipei hotel to check in. After checking in we went to eat 姜母鸭 then met up with coach and the rest at Becca and 狒狒troupe. Sat there watch some videos and some of them tried putting make up on their faces of the Ba Jia Jiang. Ended our day with a blast!

10th April 2013:
Had a tour of Taipei. Our first location was 野柳 which was a place where you see the different types of stones which form different patterns naturally such as the Queen's Head, Princess slippers, Gorilla, Cobra head, Dragon head and others. Some jokes made from there but isn't great to expose here though! LOL! When there's the Queen and Princess, there's a need for prince too! So we found the Prince head and the Prince slipper and even made a comparison. Oh well, all just for the fun of it! Hehe. For this tour let's go one by one! There's too much photos!
野柳:女王头。公主拖鞋。猩猩。俏皮公主。可爱的人们!
On the way up to 九份 we stop by a few locations such as the Gorilla mountain, the 2 colours sea and the Golden waterfall. The Gorilla mountain can be comparable to a certain extend when we are there but from the pictures the Gorilla don't look so obvious though... The 黄金瀑布 is a rather relaxing place and quite some tourists stop by to view the Golden waterfall too. The scenary of the 2 colours sea was really beautiful! Can take a look at the last photo from this collage!~ Just make you feel so superior and relax when you face the sea, and it really means 一望无尽的大海~
猩猩山;黄金瀑布;双色海;美景
Next up, we went up to 九份! Why is it called Jiu Fen? In the past there are 9 families that stays in there. And whenever there are anything to be given or distributed, it will be divided into 9 portions and that's why the place name is called Jiu Fen which also give the direct translation of "9 portions". We shopped for those cool words shirts here and also ate our lunch by the small snacks here. We are things like the Fen Yuan, fried cuttlefish, Sweet Potato puff and Yam puff. Also not to miss out their Ba Yi and Cha Jing Kuey~ Well I don't know their english names for those apparently... So sorry.  Want a place for good food and shop the 九份老街 is a very good choice! Recommended to eat the Fried Cuttlefish with mayonaise and seaweed, it's the first picture in the collage! IT'S SUPER DUPER NICE I TELL YOU! We ordered 4 different flavours in the end to try all of it. That's how nice it is I would say! xD
九份老街美食和来源
Of course next is the time we all are waiting for! To put up the 天灯! Which is like a lantern that will be sent up to the sky to light up your wish and hopefully your wish will come true. Wrote quite a lot of wishes on it and the best sentence is "学业进步!从聪明变神明!" Hahaha! It's just so hilarous that I kept laughing while I'm writing that sentence. LOL! Also had my first experience with putting up fireworks myself to light up the night sky and to play with fireworks so up close! Not those fireworks in see in the pictures but really those fireworks that poof to the sky during special occasion s in Singapore like the National day. Also went to the place where they filmed “那些年,我们一起追过的女孩” !
放天灯,玩烟花咯!
11th April:
Went to Taiwan 101 building and had last minute shopping! Gotta thanks all these wonderful people who made this trip fun, enriching and entertaining! Love you guys! And tough on those who accompanied us everyday, Susan Wu and Fei Fei! Thank you very the much!

All lies between the Hello and Goodbye.

Read this quote on instagram just now and well, it's really true. At some point of time I guess everyone will have this kind of thinking and this kind of feeling. What's there for us just awaits us to unfold and discover. We're not gonna have so many people that will not say goodbye to us until one of us leave the world. The goodbyes are given from people who once stood by you and in the end choose to leave you. Here's the quote:

Nothing last forever, forever is just a lie.

All that we have is what's between hello and goodbye.

What's the most unbearable and most hard lesson to learn on this beautiful life of ours? Knowing to know someone, saying hello, and learning to let go when the last goodbye came into our life.

Hurt,
Do you know this word? Do you understand this word? Have you ever felt this word in your heart? Hurt, just a simple 4 letter word but yet it made us felt the pain and unhappiness. Ever thought of what hurt you the most? Being replaced by someone else in the eyes of someone or some people who're the world to you, who are important to you. Being outcasted by the peoeple you love and cared for. Being like a fool to serve to love to care for the people who "care" for you. Being nothing but a nuisance and an ass in other's eyes when you think you're just putting in effort for the people you cared for. Sometimes we do wonder, why do we do certain stuffs and why sometimes we couldn't get what we have done in returm? Well, while we are giving out best, we aren't asking for anything in return. All we want is to be appreciated and treated equally. Sometimes, you'll realise at the end of the day, you're just the one and only fool cleaning people ass and doing things for them.

Relacement,
A word I'll hate now, then, forever. I've never wanted to be a replacement nor I will replace anyone. If you're important to me, then you are. There isn't anything such as replacing someone with you because the other you is gone. Sometimes, to realise the fact, I'm like a replacement or a subsitute most of the time. And this, sucks.

Lessons are taught in class followed by the test. In life, we go through the test first before we learn the lesson. This is why we never know who came into our life as a lesson and who came as a blessing. All we know is that people come and go. Those who really cared for you and bothered about you like you do will stay with you, till the day you're gone.

Foooood

BlackBall Dessert
Went to Bugis yesterday to get stuff for Xue Jie yesterday. Hahaha! About 3 days from now I'm on the plane waiting to take off already! Awesome! Anticipating for the trip to overseas. Just a get away from Singapore, enjoy, relax and have fun. Yesterday went to eat Poppeye at Bugis. The new don't know what pepper chicken thing isn't very nice though. The actual thing and the picture looks just otherwise... Oh well well~ After which went to buy BlackBall dessert for... high tea? Maybe? Hahaha. The Blackball is so nice yesterday! But should've bought the iced one instead of cold one cos the cold one do not have ice to remove the sweetness. The red bean is damn sweeeeet cos it's more of canned red beans I guess?
BlackBall Classic @ Bugis +
Roasted Beef Cup Noodles
Today bought cup noodles home from Giant, there's no more Shop n Save anymore at Bangkit. So, time to change to calling it Giant! But should be a hard change for many of us I guess? Hahaha. Cos there's a Giant at Junction 10 as well. Bought this Roasted Beef flavour noodles from Giant at only $1.40! Cheap cheap! But it was quite disappointing though, I thought the noodles garnishing pack will have those beef meat like Taiwan packed noodles but yet for this there isn't any inside. HOW DISAPPOINTING?! But this cup noodles smell quite nice though when eaten it's a bit too salty. Maybe I put too much seasoning or not enough water. First time try, still quite worth la. Gonna bring those with meat back from Taiwan! 3 more days! Let's go!

LaoBan Chilled Beancurd
Aunt bought Lao Ban beancurd to my house yesterday! Yay awesomeeee! It's not from those out-source outlet but from Old Airport Road! The standard of Lao Ban is like dropping or maybe it's just we are so used to the taste and texture of it that we lost the "WOW" we used to have? If you're into sweet, silky, smooth chilled beancurd then you should try the Lao Ban beancurd a.k.a Lao Ban Dou Hua. The almond taste aren't that strong as the past also. Well, I don't it's just my stand that the standard aren't as good or I'm used to the taste and texture already. But trust me, it's still very smooth that gives you the melt in the mouth feeling. Yummy~ Enjoy enjoy!
